Social media has changed the landscape of interaction between health organizations and consumers, with greater than 40% of patients indicating social media affects their choice of a specific doctor, hospital or medical. It has also changed the way they manage their health. As technology grows we are faced with not only the daunting task of navigating compliance issues, but must also constantly strive to maximize effective ways to engage consumers across multiple platforms - and integrate them into redefined relationships.

At the conclusion of this session, you will be able to successfully:

  • Evaluate collaborative process and priorities for increasing patient engagement and improved health literacy
  • Effect strong Brand Recognition by establishing strong presence as reputable leader of ‘the digital revolution’
  • Understand compliance, privacy and ethics issues
  • Identify risks: where and when to draw the line
